UC Berkeley did a recent study of the 'Actual Purity of bottled, spring, distilled and deionized water' found that all deionized water tests indicated that there were "numerous bacteria and viruses" growing in each sample of supposedly pure 'deionized' water. Colloidal Producers wishing to use deionized water must run their base liquids through a intensive man-made purification process, that in fact add solids and matter to the waters. With this being said, we recommend that the consumer steer completely clear of any colloidal producer or company that currently uses any 'deionized' water as their liquid base.
